Started on the aft deck planking and am making some progress. New pictures uploaded to my
Bluenose album. I think I'm getting the hang of it, but I now realize I should have spent more time truing the bulkheads for the decks (I focused the truing for the hull). Another alternative I should consider for next time is building a false deck first, then planking that. As you can see from the photos, there is a lot of unevenness. Oh, well, hopefully the deck features will hide some of that.
I'm curious - does anyone have any recommendations on decking? Is a false deck the way to go?
